1. How much is a cemetery space?

A cemetery space is $350.00.

2. Can I sell unused grave spaces in my lot back to the City?

Yes, but the City will only buy back at the original purchase price.

3. The owner of the cemetery lot is deceased. Can I use the remaining grave space on the lot?

Ownership must be determined, either by deed or will, before the lot is used. If there is not a will or deed, all surviving heirs must prepare a letter stating who is to have ownership of the space(s). This letter must be signed and notarized.
Remember that a cemetery lot is the same as any other piece of property and does need to be transferred as part of an estate.
