A relative lived/died in the Stroud area. How do I find information about their burial, obituary, business, home, etc?
You can find most of this information at the library, which keeps an archive of the local newspaper. Electronic copies of obituaries are free and can be requested by emailing the library with a name and approximate date of death. If you are planning to visit the library to look at genealogical information, you may wish to inform the librarians so that they can begin research before you arrive.
