New dumpsite for City of Stroud Residents

small S

Message from City Manager, Bob Pearman:
The employees of Stroud have been busy all Summer.  One of the projects completed is the new dumpsite for city Residents.  The new location is ½ mile North of 7th Street on Allied Road.
The site is set up to provide an area for trash, recyclable metals, tires, and tree and lawn debris.  It is our intention to leave the dump open and available at all times.  The public will need to do their part by putting materials in the dumpster or appropriate locations and following the few rules that go along with trash service.  The City of Stroud will also offer a free chipping service one day a month thanks to a grant by the Department of Environmental Quality.  That service has already begun and will continue on the 15th of each month unless that date falls on a week end.  As a resident you will need to call and let us know you have limbs for us to pick up before that date each month. This will only work if we all work together to make it happen.
